Antique enamelled kitchen bin/ cheese bin / ham container. Originally was meant for storage of cheese, butter and ham - in the old time when people did not have a freezer. It was placed in the cold and cold temperature would keep the food inside the container fresh - therefore, small holes on the back side to let the cold in. Now-days it is suitable for any number of uses in the kitchen and home.

Fantastic size: large & deep. Made of metal, with wooden handle. In very good used condition. The hinges working well and the container can be closed properly.

There are some usual wearing due to use and age: some MINOR scratches and rust marks and enamel is partly missing in a few places but nothing major. This item still is perfectly.

Very clean inside - remarkable condition for its age! It can be lovely for someone with retro-kitchen or for shop display and is a real treasure for collectors, especially in such a condition.
