This elegant and charming solid sideboard has been given a fresh new look whilst retaining all of its traditional features. It has been painted with Rust-Oleum Washable Matt Furniture Paint in Blue Print, a deep, cool, slate blue with a hint of grey inspired by coastal British waters and stormy skies. This creates a lush, graceful, rich, modern finish which will beautifully suit any contemporary or traditional space. The paint has enhanced the delicate carving to the cupboard doors, showing off and modernising this unique feature. The smooth wooden top has been sanded back and refinished in natural beeswax to reveal the warm, natural wood grain, creating a handsome and striking contrast against the blue.

The sideboard features two smooth-running drawers above double cupboard doors, opening to a spacious interior with a shelf for practical storage. The original warm wood inside has been left untouched. New ceramic floral green/blue handle pulls have been added to enhance the fresh feel and blend modern style with traditional feel. Light age-related marks on the wood show gentle authenticity, with this piece ready for its next home as a fantastic hallway unit, dining room sideboard, or a striking, unique standout storage piece for any kitchen or living area.
