Here I have a lovely SIGN. This is oven fired many layers thick enamel. It's heavy gauge sheet metal which is enamel coated in porcelain.

This is fired in a kiln layer by layer. Each vibrant eye catching colour you see on the sign is a different height to the other colours. Therefore you can actually feel the difference in height of the porcelain enamel.
