Formica Drop Leaf Dining Table Yellow Vintage 1960's

  

This is a vintage formica drop-leaf table in a duck egg yellow colour with wooden legs made by PHG and Sons Guildford. The table is fully functional and folds out easily into two different positions, making it a practical choice for small spaces. The legs of the table are in a warm wood (possibly beech) and the yellow formica on the top is a warm, bright colour with a very slight orange undertone.

The table can comfortable seat 2 people, though it would be possible to seat 4 with reduced legroom. Please note the following condition details. The formica top has a visible chip by one of the folds (see photos). The yellow surface shows some fading and also darkening around the edges. The legs have scuffs and marks consistent with age and use. The item is in reasonably good vintage condition. Fully open: Length: 91cm Width: 75cm. Half open (one side up): Length: 70cm Width: 75cm. Closed (both sides down): Length: 50cm Width: 75cm. Ideal for use as a kitchen table and to create a vintage, retro feel. Collection in person is free.
