Teak Mcintosh Dining Chairs By Tom Robertson? Midcentury Retro MCM Vintage

  
Lovely set of three Mcintosh dining chairs designed by highly respected Tom Roberton in the 1960's. Solid teak wood throughout, with a lovely grain that photos do not do justice to. Looks so modern when freshly upholstered in Teal (turquoise) velvety fabric. In very good condition throughout, with no gaps in joints, very sturdy frames. Minor surface-level age marks exist, as would be expected for 50-60 year old items. One chair had a small crack which is professionally repaired.

Velvet fabric has colour variations that naturally occur with this type of upholstery, due to small crinkles in fabric. Please zoom into the photos to check all this out. We have two other McIntosh chairs, very similar design, reupholstered in the same fabric, if you are looking for more chairs.
