A distinctive carved walnut sideboard cabinet of neat proportions and slim depth, making it ideal for hallways, studies or smaller spaces.

The cabinet features two drawers to the top, including a useful pull-out brushing slide, with two lockable cupboards below. The cupboard doors are beautifully decorated with deeply carved figural and palm tree scenes, depicting figures amongst tropical foliage and palm trees, giving the piece a striking and unusual appearance. Inside are fitted paper filing shelves and storage compartments, making it ideal for use as a filing cabinet, office cabinet or general household storage. The walnut has a rich warm colour and attractive grain, combining decorative appeal with practical functionality. Strong, sturdy and ready for use.

There are general marks, wear and blemishes consistent with age and use. The central drawer handle has a small chip. The left-hand cupboard door has a slight twist/warp, which we have attempted to show in the photographs, though it remains functional. The cabinet retains its key and the cupboards can be locked. Overall, it presents well and remains a very practical piece with plenty of character.
