Vintage Set of 5 Portmeirion Birds of Britain Storage Container Canister Jars

  

This is a set of early Portmeirion Birds of Britain Airtight Storage Jars. The height sizes including the wooden lids are 8 inch, 7 inch, 5.25 inch, 4.5 inch and 3.75 inch. Most of the transfers are'first generation' which are numbered. Something Portmeirion stopped doing when they discontinued and replaced some of the original designs.

These are used items but only one jar has signed of the crazing typical of early Birds of Britain and this is limited to the bottom.
