A Stunning and rare teak / afromosia framed Greaves and Thomas 3 seat double sofa bed design and manufactured in the 1960s. The arms on this on this sofa are so beautiful, so elegant. The is in pristine condition, it looks like it never been sat on, truly exceptional condition. Greaves & Thomas, like many other British companies, hired trained designers to create contemporary furniture. Walter Cornell designed many pieces for the company during this time, his work featured clean lines and a Danish influence.

Solid teak frame with original upholstered green velvet, which is perfect and a beautiful shade. The back folds down by pulling a wood button to quickly create a small double bed. This is the very rare double bed version that folds down to create a nice size bed for 2 people. The teak frame has been cleaned and oiled and in excellent condition.
