Vintage MID Century 50's/60's Dining Table Chairs Set Formica Kitchen Retro Red

  
This sale is for a vintage mid century 1950's/60's drop leaf formica top dining set. The set comprises of a formica top dining table with a red top with small line patterns on a white wooden frame. There are 4 co-ordinating chairs from the Chair Centre Limited (some have the labels underneath) with original red vinyl seat pads and a stool.

The table is in good used condition for its age, it has a lovely clean top but there are some scuffs to the paint where I think the chairs have hit it (see close up photos). The 4 chairs are in good solid condition and the seat pads are in good condition and with a good clean would come up well. The stool has a tear in the vinyl top which could be replaced or repaired. There are scuffs to the paint and marks to the chairs and stool.

I bought this set with the intention of stripping the paint off and taking it back to wood but I just haven't got the time and I need the space so it is going to have to go. If you stripped it back or repainted it, this set would look fantastic and is a stand out retro furniture set. The table measures approximately; 119.5cm long with both the drop leaves up x 64cm with both leaves closed x 90.5cm wide x 76cm high. This set would make an excellent kitchen or dining set and with its retro look would make a great focal point.
