Ercol Originals Stacking Chair Vintage 50s Retro. Adult size chair in great condition. An early model from the late 50s, stamped with the Patent Pending. It is a really elegant compact chair that doesn't take up lots of space and if you have more than one stacks neatl y. The chair has a solid English elm seat with beech backs, spindles and legs.

The well constructed solid elm seat is inset beneath with angled tapering legs which provide perfect support, and matching H pattern stretchers help to bolster the chairs structural rigidity. The chairs are in very good (original) vintage condition with some minor marks commensurate with age and use. It is free of any damage, repairs or wear to joints. The chairs are sturdy with no loose joints or spindles and no separation to the elm seat. It has been cleaned and waxed.
