Vintage ceramic kitchen canister set

  
My aunty was gifted this set when she got married. She has never used it and they've been in storage since the 1980's. This is a set of 6 vintage storage jars. A German, ceramic kitchen canister with Blue Onion pattern, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950. Charming set of wonderfully useful jars.

Displays a desirable aged patina throughout. Bright white ceramic decorated with the'Blue Onion' pattern established by Meissen. Accentuated in cobalt blue with peonies and asters upon winding stems.

Comprehensive set of six jars with shapely domed lids. Comprises Flour, Sugar, Tea, Coffee, Salt and Pepper respectively.

Interiors presented in a pleasingly clean order. Each finished with a maker's mark to underside - TC within an oval'globe' emblem. This is a delightful set of 6 vintage storage jars, ideal for any kitchen and presenting an attractive finish. Large Jar Width: 12.5cm (5'').
