Polished metal bedside cabinet- vintage industrial- several designs

  

A Polished Industrial Vintage Bedside table/Cabinet/ Cupboard. They have a drawer at the top and a cupboard below. These are 1950 to 1970 vintage- made for the Soviet Army and used in barracks and hospitals throughout their empire. These are a labour of love - they come with layers of old paint on them and I spend 3 to 4 hours cleaning/scraping the paint off- then sanding them several times and then another hour or two to Polish them. I then spray them with a matt clear coat varnish to seal them.

The inside surfaces of the drawer and cupboard are spray painted silver. I often change the handles to a metal one if the original has been lost or broken. 80cm tall x 38cm wide x 34cm deep.
