Vintage Formica 1970s Kitchen Units Blue Base Wall Retro 1950s Large

Please read full description, any more info required, please feel free to send a message. A rare opportunity to find a vintage blue formica in a large range of units suitable for a multitude of uses. We have had this for some time with the aim to make a galley kitchen, but as our room is too large we have decided against it. However, these are 4 decent stand alone units which could be used quite well in the right home.

The units come without work surfaces. Those shown are an example of what we were thinking of using at the time, and are not included in the sale.

The set comprises 4 floor units of various sizes. And 3 main wall units. From left to right in the images, as follows. 89cm high The 2 drawers are non functional as a hob unit was previously inset within the top. 2 cupboards underneath with 4 doors. The doors themselves are half the size of normal ones each being around 25cm. Inside this unit the front of the woodwork has some heat damage (burn) but does not affect the functionality and would be ok once covered. This unit has the sink top. 2 functional drawers and one non functional drawers.

3 cupboard sets of 2 doors each (6 small doors). The inside back of the unit has some cut outs for plumbing as you would expect. (Similar to base 1) 107cm wide. 2 cupboards with 4 small doors. This base unit was previously sticking outwards into the middle of the room and is two sided.

As such, one end is a little wider to make a small gap where the cupboards would meet. You could use this in a corner. You could use the whole length or you could remove this last section. The length is 162cm in total.

But 108 if you decided to only use the main part. A few tools and a little patience would be required to reconfigure this end of you wishes to have the maximum length. There are doors on both sides, so the surplus can be used elsewhere, and there is enough small parts to make this longer and still look correct. A little difficult to explain. The wall units all have shelves within, though not all are in place for the pictures.

Wall units 1 107cm wide. A spare little single unit. This unit was above the large base unit that came outwards into the room. It has an extra plinth underneath which can easily be removed. This unit is Very heavy.

But with the extra plinth currently attached it is 76cm high. There are doors on both sides of this unit, so various spares to make more units of you have a good joiner. One unit shows a handle missing. But there atre numerous spares on the rear side extra doors. There are also a couple of small different size blue doors that are extra spares. Just a couple of small ones that were above a tall larder unit. This set is dated 1974. As such, there are numerous marks inside the base cupboards. Though has been cleaned by use quite well. All fitted in place and with a nice new worktop and possible new inset smaller sink, this could be a very fine functional vintage kitchen. Please come with at least 2 (ideally 3) fit and able bodies as I may not be able to help. Please be advised that we have no driveway. The units are situated on the first floor of a large building. One set of steps to the front door. The hallway is large however. You would need 2 strong people, and a large van. There would be a walk of aprox 50 yards from the door to the street.
