Reproduction Mahogany Continental Serpentine Fronted Display Cabinet. A grand and elegant reproduction mahogany display cabinet in the Continental style, featuring a distinctive serpentine front and a rich, warm polished finish that highlights the beauty of the wood. The upper section is crowned with decorative mouldings and fitted with three glazed serpentine doors, each with a working lock and key.

Inside are two fixed display shelves, ideal for showcasing fine china, glassware, or collectibles. Below the glazed section are three drawer fronts - the central drawer is functional, while the outer two are decorative dummy drawers for symmetry. Beneath this sits a triple-door cupboard, each panelled and inlaid with beautiful floral marquetry designs, echoing the detailing on the drawer fronts. Each cupboard compartment includes a fixed internal shelf, and all doors come with keys. This is a solid and sturdy piece, built with both form and function in mind. It conveniently splits into two sections for easier transport and installation. There are some light cosmetic marks consistent with use, and one more engrained scratch near the glass door - see photograph - but overall this is a highly polished, impressive piece that offers excellent storage and display potential.
