Vintage deco cocktail and drinks cabinet lovingly restored

  

We fell in love with this cabinet's simple classic Deco shape; the strong and bold look, with vertical lines and angular details. The frame is sturdy with handsome original features including hinges and catches in smooth working condition. After sanding, the cabinet was given several coats of a rich damson furniture paint.

We then applied an opulent lacquered patination to the top and front in a fine mottled design. We added more shine by applying a classic geometric design to the bottoms of the doors and the top of the cabinet interiors using cut mirrors, textured glass and bevelled glass squares.

We also added mirrors inside the cocktail cabinet and the luxurious look was topped off with hand-cut glass handles which match the bevels in the design. Glass shelves add more shine and reflected light. Depth - 31cm (12) (not including knobs). Although collection is preferable, I understand that this is not always possible.
